Patients receive the best medical care when there is a true marriage between state of the art technology and highly skilled operators who know how to maneuver and diagnose using that technology. At Georgia Perinatal Consultants, our physicians are board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology plus have three additional years of training in invasive technology and diagnostic ultrasound. Specialized procedures include blood transfusions and therapeutic procedures performed on the fetus while still growing inside the womb.  

To keep their medical license as a Perinatologist (Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist), physicians are required to undergo continuous medical education and training using the latest in technology advancements. Currently, we utilize state-of-the-art 3D/4D ultrasound equipment to deliver the highest level of accuracy in ultrasound images.   

 All of our sonographers have specific training in the latest technology and hold RDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Physics in Ultrasound. In addition, they are certified in nuchal translucency and nasal bone identification. Our practice is fully accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
