Dr. Nickolas Teigen

Dr. Teigen joined Georgia Perinatal Consultants in July of 2018. A native of Minnesota, Dr. Teigen earned his undergraduate degree from Boston University and his medical degree from New York Medical College. He then completed his internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where he was recognized as administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Teigen completed his Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship training at Einstein, where he was awarded multiple clinical and teaching honors.

Dr. Teigen is board certified and a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Teigen’s primary clinical interests include prenatal diagnosis, advanced ultrasound, and medical complications of pregnancy.

Dr. Teigen lives in the Atlanta area with his wife and two children. He enjoys long distance running and competitive basketball in his spare time. Dr. Teigen is dedicated to providing specialized perinatal care to the pregnant women of the greater Atlanta area.
