Dr. Jeffrey Korotkin, co-founder of Georgia Perinatal Consultants, has worked extensively in Obstetrics and Gynecology for over 40 years.  He graduated from Tulane University and subsequently attended the University of Miami, where he received his medical degree.  He completed his internship and residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University Hospital, and later became Medical Director of Obstetric Ultrasonography, launching his career in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. 

Dr. Korotkin has participated in numerous research studies surrounding obstetrical ultrasound and high risk pregnancies.  He has lectured nationally on a variety of perinatal topics.  Dr. Korotkin has contributed his expertise to many committees and departments at Atlanta area hospitals, including his roles as Chief of Gynecology-Obstetric Service at Crawford W. Long Memorial Hospital (Emory Midtown) and Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northside Hospital. He was also a full-time faculty member at Emory University reaching an academic ranking of Associate Professor. In 1997, Dr. Korotkin received his Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University.

He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  His society memberships include the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, the International Fetal Doppler Society, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the National Perinatal Association.
