Dr. Juliet Bishop

Dr. Juliet “Jewels” Bishop joined the Northside Center for Perinatal Medicine in January of 2023 and Georgia Perinatal Consultants in June 1, 2023.  As an Atlanta native, Dr. Bishop received her undergraduate degrees at Emory University and subsequently spent five years conducting research in Human Genetics at Emory prior to earning her medical degree at Mercer University. She returned to Emory to complete her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics where she received several teaching awards. She then completed a combined fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Medical Genetics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Following fellowship, Dr. Bishop served on faculty as an Assistant Professor and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine before returning home to Atlanta.

Dr. Bishop is board certified in OB-Gyn and is a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

While she enjoys all aspects of high-risk obstetrics, her primary clinical interests include prenatal diagnosis, genetics, reproductive health, and medically complex pregnancies.
