William Logan Riley, MD
Dr. Logan Riley joined Georgia Perinatal Consultants in September 2025. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Riley earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Auburn University. He completed medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by both residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. During residency and fellowship, Dr. Riley developed an interest in substance use during pregnancy, diabetes, and diagnostic genetic testing. He worked closely with genetic counselors and the neonatology team to provide comprehensive care for women with a pregnancy affected by a life limiting diagnosis or suspected to require early neonatal intervention.
Dr. Riley is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine. He has multiple publications and presentations in the areas of diagnostic genetic testing and the vaginal microbiome.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Riley enjoys spending time with his wife, Sara—who was born and raised in Johns Creek—and their two children, as well as playing sports, baking sourdough bread, traveling, and cheering on Auburn football.
